Shauni's 1st Zoo Visit

I don't know why this took so long. We take Shauni EVERYWHERE! She's been to several states and Mexico twice. She will have been to Jamaica and the Virgin Islands twice by the end of the year and I'm beginning to forget how many cruises she's been on already and she just turned 3 years old! So, I'm boggled by how we've overlooked something as logical and simple as the local zoo. I've thought about taking her before and it's been on my list of things-to-do for Shauni before I'm too old to do them with her. Now that she's in school, she's talking about animals that she's learning about. I figured it was about time we took a trip to the zoo.

She even touched a snake! Raised her hand to go on stage and volunteer! Fearless! LOL! She had lots of fun. Couldn't stop talking about it for days. I don't know why we didn't do this sooner.
