Wow! Time sure does fly! Shauni is one year old today and I can't believe it. It was a little over a year ago when this adoption journey began and now this beautiful baby girl has been a part of our family for a whole 365 days!
Here's just a few One Year updates that come to mind right now....
1. Shauni says "hi, bye-bye, uh-oh, more (for more food), ummm (when food is good), Mama, Dada".
2. She dances to any music
3. Can stand up for a long time but won't take a step yet.
4. Knows where her tummy, nose, feet and hair is.
5. Likes peek-a-boo.
6. Loooooves her pacifier.
7. Eats more table food now. Loves scrambled eggs, fruits, vegetables and cheerios.
8. Doesn't mind water and will let me wash her hair without a fuss.
9. Leans in for kisses.
10. Puts phone up to her ear like she's talking.
