Shauni's Birthday Party

The cake: I had a baker that I was initially going to order from but she would take too long calling me back on things, so 3 days before the party, I had to get another order from a local grocery store. This is how the cakes came to me. After cleaning them up a bit, I decorated it myself with ribbon, bead trim and a number 1 topper that I made for her.



This is the first time Shauni has had sugar. Other than letting her lick the straw of my Jamba Juice once, I don't give her sugar just yet. But today, she ate the traditional birthday slice. She was hesitant at first but by the last picture, you will see that she liked it alright!










We hired a fairy princess for the party and she did a magic show that created this stuffed unicorn for Shauni. All the kids loved her. She did a magic show, balloon shaping and face painting! By the time it got to face painting, Shauni was tired so she didn't get hers done.
