Basketball

We had just returned home from a quick coffee run when Shauni saw some of the neighborhood kids playing on their basketball court in the street. I could barely get her out of the car and into the house...she wanted to play with them soooo bad. Being the good Mommy that I am, I put on her "play clothes" and a jacket and some gym shoes. This took forever since she wasn't all that cooperative, was antsy and kept saying how she wanted to go back outside! By the time we actually made it back outside, the kids were gone. She about cried!! I felt so bad for her. We grabbed her basketball and played for awhile anyway. She seemed ok with that!
