Decided to start back work on the nursery. I'm still sporadic and no one project is completed, but I'm getting there! Here is a before and somewhat after photo of the light fixture I am working on for her room. I still have to finish the rest of the shades. Also, the string beads might be a bit much. I just threw them up there to see how they look. If I use them, I will be spray painting them pink! I think pink is my new favorite color!
The way I bought it. I got it professionally re-wired and a longer chain added (that is what's in the brown bag).
Covered the lights and the green decorative petals with yellow trash bags. Primed it white and then painted it a final cream color.
I did one lampshade and got bored. (I told you....I never finish what I start in one sitting!) I have since done two more. Three more to go!!!
